Below is a little about our systems, and why we use the materials we use.
TIMBER.
Why do we use timber for our systems?We use 12-17mm ply wood for our drawer systems for a number of reasons.The number one reason is because it is light weight and can move with the vehicle. It will withstand rough terrain, without rattling and falling apart. The ply absorbs the shocks, protecting the joins.Ply board is also much quieter then steel. There is no rattling, and ply is able to absorb noises.Using Ply, and using carpet, makes our units almost 100% dust free.
Using ply, we can fully customise each individual system to your specific requirements. It is much more cost effective, more practice, and can make our designs much simpler, then a similar unit made from steel.
RUNNERS
We use metal bearing runners that a fully extendable, which means they come 95-98% all the way out of the unit. There is very minimal, if any, drawer left inside the system. This ensures full use of your drawers, and can access 100% of your drawer.
Most of our runners are rated to 100 kilos over the drawer. We also have a heavy duty 220 kilo runner we use for built in fridge slides.
Our runners have lock-outs which means when fully extended, the drawer will lock out, and not roll back in on you if you are on a lean. With a quick flick of a tab, the drawers roll back into the unit.
OPTIONAL EXTRAS
FRIDGE SLIDES
We offer built in fridge slides with our systems, or we also offer drop down fridge slide from MSA, which are suitable for most fridges.
CARGO BARRIERS
Cargo barriers are also available to suit our systems. They are customised to suit the size of each individual drawer system. We use Autosafe for our cargo barriers.
LASHING POINTS
We use an aluminium track system with removable lashing points, that can be moved to any position along the tracks. Tracks are also flush mounted on top of the system, and/or on the fridge slide.
CENTER DIVIDERS
Center dividers are great for when you have a fridge on top of the unit, so you can pack your vehicle, and not have things fall behind the fridge when it is pulled out. They also keep items away from your fridge, allowing the fridge vents open.
TOP SHELVES
Top shelves are available, and are great to store smaller items over head.

The MSA 4x4 Dash Organiser is another fantastic, innovative original that keeps everything you use, when sitting in the driver or passenger seat, close at hand and easy to access, right in front of you! The Dash Organiser has a velcro base that attaches directly to your dashmat. It is also supplied with adhesive touch tape to attach to the dash if you don’t have a dashmat. Easy! The Organiser will mould to any dash shape, you can even install it vertically on the transmission hump.
With 5 pockets to store your smaller items, such as: sunglasses, two way radios, pens, mobile phones, cameras, etc and one larger pocket for your map, you will never have to go searching for the things you need again.
The top of the Dash Organiser is insulated from our harsh Australian sun with 5mm insulation and is completely UV stable. The 9mm elastic strip holds over each item to prevent anything ending up on your lap when you go offroad. Why do we only make it in black? Light colours reflect off the windshield, black doesn’t!

As touring offroaders, we constantly need to secure things down, whether it be a fridge inside the vehicle or firewood on top of it. The quickest, easiest and SAFEST way to do this is with our new range of cam buckle tie down straps.
All MSA 4x4 Tie Down Kits are manufactured with 25mm (450kg lashing capacity) webbing and powder coated metal cam buckles that will not vibrate and release. As well as this, all are manufactured to AU/NZ standard 4380.
Now to make life easier all the ends of the webbing are angle cut at 45 degrees so feeding the strap through the buckle is very easy, especially when you are trying to hold the load and feed the strap!
You know how after rolling up a strap it always comes undone! Well, no more! We have installed elastic loops on the tie straps so when they are rolled up, just wrap the elastic loop around the strap and then place them in the canvas storage bag. No more messy tangled straps.
As it is not required, the fridge ties do not have the elastic loops or storage bag

12 Individual pockets for endless storage possibilities includes 3 larger pockets for street directories, atlas’ and maps. The MSA 4x4 Seat Organiser is available with a drop down table. Awesome for those travel breaks - clip up the table, enjoy the convenience, fold it down, clip it back, simple as that! The injection moulded table even has a cup recess.
Don’t forget all the other features of the Original Organiser! It’s perfect for all the stuff that the kids need to take with them, with 12 individual pockets for everything from books and magazines, to drink bottles, iPods, chargers, DVDs, sunnies, sunscreen, the list goes on... and on...
When stowing all this kit in an organiser it becomes quite heavy, so in all the MSA 4x4 organisers we install an 8mm aluminium frame in the sides and top to prevent “sagging”, especially when the seats are reclined.
To make the Organiser as rugged as we can, we manufacture it from the same heavy duty canvas as all our products. It can be installed on any seat with an adjustable head rest. It is recommended that the table is in the down position when the vehicle is in motion.

MSA 4x4 have been travelling offroad for decades, we were also tired of busting cans and destroying the contents in our car fridge! Tried everything from a block of foam under the lid to different stack methods and still,busted cans.
Then came up with it: individual tinnie protection! So it was the conventional stubby holder but it's too thick, takes up too much room and doesn't cover both ends, which still eventuated in fridge damage and busted cans!
