This pump comes off the BMW E53 with the M57N cast iron engine. It can be used as an upgrade fuel pump for the M57N2 alloy block, it is a direct bolt up however the fuel line fittings are different and will require modifications if fitting to a M57N2 Alloy Block, like the X5 E70.
- This is a direct replacement Fuel Pump for the BMW EXX M Series Engines. The pump is capable of delivering significantly more fuel compared to the factory R70
- A R90 CP3 pump has 3 pistons so will feed the rail with a constant pressure, you wont have limp at upper RPM any longer and can increase rail pressure
- This pump is capable of around 2200 BAR rail pressure but must be coupled with suitable injectors to run this pressure
