N57 Charge Pipe Coupling Set
A billet aluminium intercooler coupling set designed to adapt the BMW N57 charge air connector to aftermarket intercooler piping. Machined in-house from 6061 aluminium by Fusion Fab Industries, this replaces the factory plastic charge air connection with a solid, reusable alloy fitting.
Why upgrade the charge air connector?
The factory N57 charge air connectors are plastic and rely on a moulded lip plus an O-ring and spring clip to seal. They were designed around standard boost levels and factory piping. Once an N57 is running higher boost, a different intercooler, or custom piping — which is the norm in a conversion or performance build — the plastic connection becomes one of the first things to let go.
Common problems with the factory connector:
- Cracking or splitting at the flange, especially on older, heat-cycled plastic
- Boost leaks under load, causing underboost fault codes and lost power
- Blowing off entirely at higher boost
- No practical way to adapt it to custom intercooler piping
This billet set solves both problems at once — it gives you a stronger connection and a clean 2.5" transition into aftermarket piping.

Important Notes
- Designed for use with 2.5" aftermarket charge piping. Confirm your pipe size before ordering.
- Sold as a coupling set only — intercooler piping and hoses are not included.
- Inspect and lubricate the seal on installation, and confirm the retaining spring is fully seated before applying boost.
