Diff Drop Kit - Holden Colorado RG & Isuzu DMAX 6/2012 - On
When lifting IFS vehicles, the Constant Velocity or CV joints are put on an increased angle. This increased angle of the CV joint during operation can accelerate the wear on the joint, as well as puttimg additional stress on the CV boots leading to splitting & eventually premature failure of the CV. This wear is accelerated further if larger wider wheels & tyres are fitted.
A complete Bolt In Diff Drop Kit for the RG Colorado & Isuzu DMAX 6/12-On is now available to suit these popular strut front end models with raised suspension. The Roadsafe DDCOL02, once fitted, will drop the inner CV joints approx. 30mm, & has been designed to suit lifts of 2-4". The kit comes complete with new crossmember & alloy spacers.
The crossmember is manufactured from solid flame cut 15mm steel, with a recessed machined diff mounting boss, to avoid damage to the diff bolt head when offroading. The crossmember is e-coated & powdercoated back for increased longevity & discreet fitment, & can be used with aftermarket or factory protection plates. The spacers are machined alloy, in black & supplied complete with new mouting bolts - including a shorter bolt specific to DMAX installations only.
