Description
Roadsafe 4WD Dropped Drag Link suits Toyota Hilux 11/83-8/97 vehicles with 3-5" lift
The Roadsafe Dropped Drag Link is designed to correct misalignment in the steering geometry when a Hilux is lifted over 3". The drag link on the Hilux connects the steering box to the steering knuckle arm (SX3570) on the drivers side. On lifted vehicles the standard drag link fouls on the U bolts during articulation. This Dropped Drag link is adjustable & greasable & suitable for 3-5" lifts.
Uprated Drag Links, Tie Rods & Track Rods also referred to as “Long Rods” are available as part of the Roadsafe 4WD range. A worn ‘Long Rod’ can cause a variety of steering related issues including wandering, erratic steering and excessive tyre wear.
Roadsafe 4WD’s range of ‘Long Rods’ are generally manufactured in an uprated (larger OD) steel than standard to aid in, let’s be diplomatic.... “bend resistance” However, please note, warranty does not extend to ‘bent’ rods – because if you hit them hard enough they will still bend!
Roadsafe offer a full range of Heavy Duty Drag Links & Track Rods to suit Australian 4WDs. It's not a case of "one style suits all" at Roadsafe 4WD.
Usually when buying genuine Rods you must buy the rods seperate from the ends, with Roadsafe you get the Complete Upgraded solution in one great purchase.
The Start Up is a huge upgrade over standard featuring thicker walls & OD on the rods. The range includes a number of versions to suit different applications.
- The Start Up version which is an upgraded version of the factory parts.
- The Serious 4WD version suited to those vehicles used for heavier offroading.
- The Ultimate MF Comp version in 4140 Chromoly Steel.
